ARTISAN WINES FROM THE SURREY HILLS
DISCOVER OUR GRAPES
AND WINES
The climate and growing conditions here at Leith Hill in Surrey are proving to be perfect for our exceptional artisan-crafted wines. Our wines are made solely from the grapes we grow and harvest from our enchanting vineyard, this allows us to ensure that only the best quality grapes make the cut.
In 2022, we took a small harvest from the Pinot Noir field and made our first vintage still Rosé: a soft, delicious wine bursting with ripe summer berries and hints of wildflowers.
We now have our first vintage Chardonnay and Bacchus. And after 2 years of waiting our first sparkling Rosé and white wines from the same year.
OUR RED GRAPE VARIETIES
Pinot Noir
The Pinot Noir grape loves our English climate and produces juicy, light-bodied wines with complex red fruit aromas and herbal, earthy notes.
Pinot Meunier
This variety brings flavours of berries and cherries to our English wine and its mellow character softens the intensity of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Pinot Noir Précoce
This early ripening grape excels in southern England. Wines are lighter than Pinot Noir, with bright red fruit flavours and herbaceous notes.
Cabernet Cortis
This grape produces a rich, intense wine with dark fruit flavours and a herbal character.
OUR WHITE GRAPE VARIETIES
Chardonnay
The green Chardonnay grape thrives here in southern England, producing elegant, complex wines with flavours of green apple, citrus, and a hint of oak.
Sauvignon Blanc
We are one of only a few British vineyards growing Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which produce zesty, fragrant, dry English wines with bright citrus and mineral notes.
Bacchus
The Bacchus grape is celebrated for its aromatic qualities, showcasing clear elderflower, gooseberry, and citrus notes. It matures early and thrives in cooler climates such as those in Germany and here in England, yielding wines that are crisp and refreshing with high acidity.
OUR WINEMAKING
Our winemaking process is both an art and a science and focuses on sustainability and exceptional quality. From fermentation through to ageing, blending, and bottling, we combine traditional methods and contemporary expertise.
